In this class, you will make a set of plates, bowls, and sauce dishes over the course of 8 weeks with Jennifer Alvarez.
Jennifer Alvarez is a multidisciplinary artist working in the Bay Area since 2011. She has been making with clay since 2005 and enjoys combining wheel thrown and handbuilt elements in her ceramics. She spends her time creating and teaching throwing and hand building techniques at Auburn Clay Arts Studio and at Kollektiv Clay Studio in Northern California.
The class meets on Monday evenings from 6-9 PM for 8 weeks starting on January 12th. The class includes a 25 lb bag of clay, firing, and access to glaze materials. An additional 3 hours of open studio time per week is also included.
This is an adult only class - ages 18 and up.
