In this course, you’ll learn how to throw on the wheel which includes: centering clay, pulling up walls, making basic cylinders, trimming, attaching handles, carving designs, and glazing.
This 6 week class is on Saturday mornings from 9-12 PM starting on September 5th. The instructor of the class is Hannah Orth, owner of Mudworks Studio. Hannah has work all over the Bay Area, LA, and NYC. She also has a shop on Solano!
The course includes a 25 lb bag of clay, firing, and access to glaze materials. An additional 3 hours of open studio time per week is also included.
